Head JV Coach: Alan Apsay

Coach Apsy begins his first year as Canyon Boys Basketball Junior Varsity Coach. Coach Apsay has been involved with Canyon Basketball for over 2 years, as the Girls BB Freshmen Coach. This year he joins Coach Phillips staff as the JV head coach. He was a graduate of Monroe High School in 1980 & later received his BA from the University of Phoenix. Coach Apsay started his HS coaching stint at Loyola HS as the Boys Freshmen Coach, but has been running an AAU basketball program SCV Lightning the last 8 years. When he's not coaching basketball, he also coaches his youngest son's youth football team. Alan enjoys spending time with his wonderful wife Chris and his three sons Coley (17), Cade (15) and Camden (12).
